As for the topic of this thread - the radio's relatively low selling price - it's an interesting Radiodyne, but maybe Arnie wasn't the only one who noticed the slots were backwards. I do like a neat and tidy craft space, but when I’m working on a project, it’s a complete mess. He may comment about it here later.) And I had a very late 4066 with a round filament switch that I'm almost certain was installed at the factory, so I suspect they were using those round switches early in the fall of 1923, quite possibly at the same they were using the rectangular switches. The position of those slots would certainly support the theory that the radio was plated by a 3rd party after it left the factory, and then re-assembled once the parts had been flashed. Considering all the above, this set would not work! That is my 2 cents worth! ![]() Additionally, some of the wiring was not connected. However, all the brass parts were not brass plated, such as the P1 and P2 terminals and the output terminals. The first thing that cought my eye were that most of the tube sockets were installed backwards! The second thing was, with a low serial number of A00155, the set should have had a the early AK square switch and not the bakelite switch.
